98. This is really sad. Kevin Dubrow & Quiet Riot were partly responsible for the 1980's Heavy Metal revolution, and did much to help others in the genre. At the same time, he came to epitomize the 80's excess lifestye. He developed a britney spears mentality; he drank like a fish, did massive amounts of coke & other drugs, developed a megalomaniacal personality, exhibited mentally erratic & loudmouthed behavior, drove his friends & family away by his actions, and was responsible for the breakup of Quiet Riot.

However, unlike brain dead britney, he seemed to turn his life around. He had gone through rehab, and it seemed to work. He became self-depracating, and publically addressed his problems, including those friends he'd driven away; he took responsibility for what he'd previously done. He re-connected with his bandmates, reformed Quiet Riot with them, and seemed happy & content with his life. To find that he died of a cocaine overdose is really sad; it's not often that someone publically appears to do a complete 180 & find themselves back on the path of life. Apparently, the call of the drug was louder than the progress he'd made, and it ended his life; ol' dumbass britney should learn a lesson from Kevin's life & early demise...

103. To all those that left rude comments about this man, shame on you. For those that left condolences for him and his friends and family, thank you.
Unless you knew Kevin, you have no idea who he really was. And this finding comes as a shock to even those that knew him. Many people are DEVASTATED from the out come of the autopsy. Please respect those people who are now left behind and have to deal with this. And to the *@@hole that referred to Kevin as a Dirtball, go look in the mirror. Freak, yeah, We can all go with that. Kevin could be a total Freak. In the best way possible. But he was no Dirtball.
