I know that Joe is hardly a saint but to all the 4000,000,000,000,000 lusty men out there, he provides a very handy service. And for those of you who think that he is scum I have a question for y'all, why do you think that he is revered and respected even at the echelons of Hollywood?? Hmm.

41. He had to know that these girls he was filming were someone's daughters. Some of those daughters had fathers who probably work for the IRS or some other government entity. He was not low key, he was arrogant, and even in jail he still thinks he's above the law. Capone didn't get a slap on the wrist for tax evasion and neither will this guy.

To everybody reading this thread: I have personal extensive knowledge regarding the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure + have previously posted my comments here in connection with Joe Francis when he first refused to surrender himself last week , under a Court order for contempt, issued by a U.S. District Judge in Florida. His plea bargin with the government to settle with the underage plaintiffs failed which, was at the time of sentencing, only a federal misdemeanor civil matter that will most likely now be enhanced to a federal criminal felony instead, based on his failure to surrender + the fact that he was caught with contraband while in federal custody. This Florida federal matter has NOTHING whatsoever to do with the fact that he was just indicted today on two counts of tax evasion by a federal Grand Jury in Reno, NV. You can read the complete indictment on the smokinggun.com. These charges are far more serious then Francis' legal issues in Florida. BOTH involve FEDERAL civil + now criminal charges. I can guarantee you that Francis will ultimately end up making a plea deal with the feds in the tax evasion charges, since there is NO WAY he will be able to beat the rap - he is toast! I question the "timing "of the unsealing of the indictment a day after he was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in Florida, but when it comes to the feds, no holes are barred. He will DEFINITELY be sentenced to a term in custody on the tax evasion charges no matter what. Today's indictment for tax evasion against Francis is a death knell by comparison to the the legal problems he faces in Florida. However BOTH cases are being adjudicated in Federal Court which is like comparing apples + oranges in prosecuting a civil or criminal state case .
