Foxy Brown: I'm a Victim of Police Brutality

Foxy Brown claims she was a victim of police brutality during a beauty store bust in Florida nearly two weeks ago.

The rapper held a press conference yesterday, and attacked the Pembroke Pines Police for their alleged treatment of her during her February 15 arrest. The store owner claims Brown went on a violent rampage that included squirting hair glue, knocking over displays and spitting at him.

"The only crime I am guilty of committing is being a young black female celebrity in Broward County," said Brown. "I am the victim of an overzealous police department who engaged in police brutality and a money-hungry store owner whose motives are for me to pay his mortgage on his house and his children's tuition."

Brown added that the store owner barged in on her while she was on the toilet and demanded she leave the store , without giving her the privacy to get dressed. Though Brown went off on the police department and the store owner, she didn't deny the charges they filed against her.

76. Well, if she was exposed in that horrible fashion, then I'd say, fight about it. Good for her.

83. You guys are getting far far away from the story.. Yes God said marry of your kind, for so I made you, and it is good, and that means marry those of your religion, thoughts and sentiments with Christ now., so your children and the combined families don't suffer trouble and warrings, and call no man common, and stay away from the evil doers, who know better, if they persist in doing evil.

84. angie, thanks for the jesus update, i'm up to speed with who he is and what he did, as far as i recall he didn't throw sh*t in a beauty shop and then blame the romans for brutality (he may have had a case) nor was he a racist. as for prettyx2 she is a pig and i am a pigacist, i believe pigs belong in a pen and not on teh computer, that being said i believe her vienna sausage sized fingers should stop typing noinksense and retreat to the only comfort she knows, a pork loin

85. ok, as a nonblack/nonwhite person here, this white vs black racism thing is outta hand on these comments. racism goes all ways, its not just about the whites putting down the blacks. blacks can be racist too(i've met a few) as for the article we're supposedly commenting on, foxy brown needs to get a grip, take responsibility for her actions and quit making things about color. and ps, i've been a victim of racism for a long time, my classmates in high school even made a name for me and called me it everyday for five years, you ignore it and move on.

88. great way to cap off black history month with a typical story, even more interesting now is the nba's upcoming decision on whether or not to pull teh nba all-star game from the city next year out of fear the city isn't prepared for the type of crowd that attends the game saying the depleted police force wouldn't be able to keep things safe, hmmm who goes to those games?

89. LOSER.

She's such a loser. Why is she still even famous? When was the last time she made a record, or for that fact, had a hit. She's a disgrace to women everywhere, and a joke to the black community.

90. It's incredible how many people think so negativly of this young girl. I met her at her birthday party a year ago in manhattan and she was so nice, down to earth and sweet. She never had an attitude with anyone there. Now i was never really a big fan of hers, but I enjoyed her music and I went cause a friend of mine asked me to, but the media seriously blows this girls life out of proportion. Why is everything she does such a big deal.
she is not pulling "the race card" ... there were apparenlty witnesses that saw the police get too physical, when it was not necessary.
People need to stop assuming that she's crazy just because the papers paint that picture, get a mind of you're own and let the details make sense before you come to a conclusion. There is no footage of her throwing anything!
